Innovative SMEs and international markets: the new Innowide call of the European Partnership on Innovative SMEs has been published

From 5 September 2022 the new has opened up Innowide announcement of European Partnership on Innovative SMEs. 

The call offers innovative SMEs a grant to assess the feasibility of their research or their commercial ambitions on the markets.

They can apply Innovative SMEs, including young companies and startup of any sector:

  • established in an EU Member State or in a country associated with Horizon Europe
  • who intend to compete and start commercial activities in new and emerging markets around the world
  • engaged in an economic activity (selling products or providing services on the market at a certain price)

The tender budget includes:

  • 3 million euros to finance 50 projects
  • 60.000 euros for market feasibility project

The deadline for submitting your application is November 15, 2022

La European Partnership on Innovative SMEs / Eurostars 3 is the largest international funding program for Small and Medium Enterprises wishing to collaborate on research and development projects to create innovative products, processes or services for commercialization. This is the continuation of the Eurostars 1 and 2 programs, funded under the 7th Framework Program and Horizon 2020. In its third version, it is an important part of European Innovation Ecosystems (IEE) which falls under the third pillar of Horizon Europe and is implemented in the form of a Cofunded partnership.

Innovative SMEs / Eurostars 3 is supported by the European Commission and the Eureka Initiative, an agreement between countries to promote European competitiveness and integration and to encourage collaboration in R & D & I which has successfully implemented Eurostars 1 and Eurostars 2, both jointly funded by the European Commission and the Participating countries, supporting more than 3.000 SMEs.

The program has set itself three strategic objectives:

Objective 1. Innovation: enable SMEs to conduct all forms of innovation and strengthen the market diffusion of innovative solutions
Objective 2. Internationalization: favor the internationalization of innovative SMEs
Objective 3. Connecting the European Research Area (ERA): Linking Member States' programs to unlock the potential of all partners in order to strengthen the innovation capacity of SMEs, the EU technology base and spread the benefits within ERA.
