La Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy (DCDE extension) launched an immersive metaverse training program for startups. Is called "Future of the Digital Economy: Business in the Metaverse“, And will provide digital startups with the knowledge they need to build the metaverse.
Il DCDE extension will select 30 startups from Dubai and other markets to join the academy.
The academy will use the technologies of virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR) and extended reality (XR) to educate startups on business dynamics in the metaverse.
Startups will participate in four full sessions on Web3: history, its roots and the case studies that will evaluate the situations in which companies have been successful and where they have failed.
Sessions will teach the value of non-fungible tokens (NFT) and how brands and companies use them to expand their relationships with consumers.
The program will also attract promising digital companies to Dubai, with the aim of enhancing the UAE's status as a leading digital economy.
The training program will take place from 4 to 14 December and startups have until 31 October to apply.
Dubai was one of the first to adopt Web3. The city has already made great strides in metaverse by launching an engaging customer support system called MetaHealth.
