Game of Thrones NFTs coming soon. “Winter is Coming,” Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) and HBO have partnered with NFT creator Nifty to launch NFTs based on the exciting season.
GOT NFTs are designed, developed and manufactured by digital production company Daz 3D in collaboration with Nifty. The collection will allow fans to build their own kingdoms by collecting avatars inspired by their favorite characters from the television series. The collection NFT of Game of Thrones will contain various digital items, including equipment, weapons and companions, allowing collectors to alter the qualities of their avatars. Others will include iconic moments, locations and characters with the ability to build your own kingdom.
Other NFTs will feature memorable episodes, characters and locations from “Game of Thrones.” WBD noted that fans could also participate in "thematic activities and on-site engagement" as part of the experience.
Game of Thrones joins a number of other film projects that have been presented to the world blockchain. Fans are hoping the collection is as successful as the series.
This is not the first time the media company has collaborated with Nifty's, “Looney Tunes” NFTs were launched in June.
WBD has partnered with Funko on various NFT drops. And two months ago Warner Bros. partnered with the company blockchain Eluvio to publish the “Lord of the Rings” web3 cinematic experience, with NFT versions of the film.
