MISE: tender for the tanning industry for innovative and eco-sustainable investments

Il Ministry of Economic Development (MISE) has published the gang inherent in the granting of concessions for the companies belonging to a tanning district located on the national territory.

THEobiettivo of the measure is to realize investment programs for companies in the tanning industry, severely affected by the pandemic emergency, to encourage innovation of products and production models, protect supply chains and facilitate the activities of design, experimentation, Research industrial and development of the sector also in terms of sustainability ed circular economy.

The proposed interventions must begin after the granting of the facilities e be completed within 18 months. The projects will have to favor the competitiveness of the proposing companies and lead to the implementation of innovative and sustainable investment programs, aimed at one of the following purposes:

  • Introduction of innovations of product or process, to broaden the range of products and propose their significant innovative technological reworking and / or introduce digital content and processes within the proposing company
  • Minimization of environmental impacts of production processes, in compliance with the principles of eco-sustainability and circular economy
  • Creation or consolidation of tools for sharing and integration of activities, knowledge and skills related to the tanning sector supply chain for the innovation and internationalization of companies

I available funds for the measure they are equal to 10 million euro, payable in the form of non-repayable contributions up to 50% of the  eligible expenses sustained, i.e. those strictly functional to the realization of the projects. Eligible expenses must be included between 50.000 and 200.000 euros, with the possibility of a rise to 500.000 € for some integrated district projects that allow the realization of effective competitive advantages from a supply chain perspective.

Companies located in the tanning districts of Campania, Lombardy, Marche, Tuscany and Veneto. The counter managed by Invitalia for submitting applications will open il November 15, 2022 and until the available resources run out, while it will be possible to proceed with the pre-compilation of the forms from 8 November
