SkyKick Releases Major Platform Upgrades with New Intelligent Cloud Backup Product, Updated Security Management System, and Next Generation Migration Suite

The upgrades include SecurityRadar and SmartInsights, designed to make it easier for ITSPs to build, market and deliver security services for all of their Microsoft 365 customers; SkyKick also obtains ISO 27001 certification

SkyKick has announced major improvements to its cloud management platform. New products and updates deliver enhanced data protection capabilities and customized security intelligence, and enable ITSPs to meet the growing demand for robust security solutions and conversations in the SMB market.

The security

In an era dominated by data andartificial intelligence, safety it is a top concern for 88% of SMB customers. While overall IT budgets remain stable or even declining, 42% of SMB owners are willing to invest more in security and data protection solutions. SMB appetite for MSP security services continues to grow against the backdrop of increased adoption of Microsoft 365 (now with an estimated 382 million commercial users worldwide) and the proliferation of sensitive data being created in the cloud. ITSPs are struggling to meet the demand.

Besides SmartInsights , the new Cloud Backup introduces a user-centric architecture that simplifies ease of use for ITSPs. Examples include a new group management feature, which scales the onboarding and offboarding processes. Extending the comprehensive coverage of Microsoft 365, data protection for Microsoft Planner is now also included. Overall, the new Cloud Backup reinvents data protection for the modern ITSP, reducing resolution times and increasing customer satisfaction.

Security Manager

Additionally, SkyKick has revamped its Security Manager solution, which now manages millions of SMB end users since its debut in fall 2022.

We created Security Manager to help partners be more proactive about security and build a stronger practice,” said SkyKick co-CEO Evan Richman. “Today, SkyKick announces Security Radar , a key innovation within Security Manager, purpose-built to provide 100.000 Microsoft cloud partners with data-driven security insights they can use to drive proactive, personalized customer engagement.”

Besides Security Radar , Security Manager is upgrading its proprietary Microsoft Partner Center Connector (PCI) with new sync technology that is 2x faster and more automated, further simplifying day-to-day customer management and GDAP compliance required by Microsoft.

The market's initial reaction to the new updates has been very positive.
