WEB site: mistakes not to commit - IV part

A website is not a must that you must have because the market dictates it. A website is a channel which, like others, must bear fruit for your business.

For this to happen, your website must be designed and built in the right way.

Very often, mistakes are made which prevent the achievement of the purpose: improve and implement your business entrepreneurial.

The past few weeks we have seen some errors (Part I, Part II e Part III) let's explore some further aspects today:

10. Do not monitor the progress, the performance of the site

It would be of little use to develop a well-made site, and then not monitor its performance and progress. There are several tools to do this.

Google, for example, offers a very useful free web analytics tool: Google Analytics 4. Through this platform it is possible to monitor various parameters of your website.

  • What is the audience of your site?
  • The age of the visitors?
  • In which geographic area is your site viewed the most?
  • What is the bounce rate of your web pages?
  • Does your site work optimally on every device (PC, tablet, smartphone)?

All these - and many other data - are collected, analyzed and shown by Google Analytics 4 and this is extremely useful for your web marketing.

In fact, by monitoring your website in detail you can identify not only any problems and solve them, optimizing the performance of your website, but also evaluate and implement new and effective marketing strategies.

11. Don't promote

The search engine is an excellent traffic vehicle functional to your business. But it covers only one part, which is what it can be defidefined as a "conscious need".
I have a problem and I am looking for more information or maybe a solution to solve it.

And when I don't know I have a problem?

If I do not consider that problem a priority or I am convinced that there is no solution. In this case we enter the world of "latent need".

To intercept this need it is necessary that you choose your ideal potential customers appropriately, showing them one (or more) textual content, photos or videos informing them of the problem and the solution inviting them to connect to your site.

To give a boost and reach the greatest number of people it is useful to take advantage of sponsorships, for example those on social networks such as Facebook or Instagram.

12. Don't exploit testimonials

Word of mouth is a powerful persuasive weapon, as is social proof.

The reviews, comments and thanks from our best customers are not simply achievements, but real trophies to show and tell. Other people may identify with that customer and have the same need to satisfy and will be more likely to choose you.
