Next opening of the new calls for the Digital Europe Program

They will open the September 29th next i new calls of the program DigitalEurope, the European program that intends to strengthen European technological sovereignty and introduce digital solutions on the market for citizens, public administrations and businesses, contributing to the achievement of the objectives for the European digital decade.

In particular, these are the following calls:

Cloud Data and TEF (DIGITAL-2022-CLOUD-AI-03), with the aim of strengthening the EU's core capabilities in artificial intelligence (AI) as a crucial driver for the digital transformation of the public and private sectors. The call contains the following topics:

  • Data space for smart communities (deployment) (DIGITAL-2022-CLOUD-AI-03-DS-SMART)
  • Deployment of the AI-on-demand platform (DIGITAL-2022-CLOUD-AI-03-AI-ON-DEMAND)
  • Data space for manufacturing (deployment) (DIGITAL-2022-CLOUD-AI-03-DS-MANUF)
  • Data space for media (deployment) (DIGITAL-2022-CLOUD-AI-03-DS-MEDIA)
  • Data space for mobility (deployment) (DIGITAL-2022-CLOUD-AI-03-DS-MOBILITY)
  • Large-scale pilots for cloud-to-edge based service solutions (DIGITAL-2021-CLOUD-AI-03-PILOTS-CLOUD-SERVICES).
Cybersecurity and Trusts

Cybersecurity and Trusts (DIGITAL-ECCC-2022-CYBER-03), which aims to contribute to the computer security of the European Union to protect citizens and organizations, also aiming to improve the security of digital products and services. The call contains the following topics:

European Digital Innovation Hubs

European Digital Innovation Hubs (DIGITAL-2022-EDIH-03), as part of the “Deployment of Capacities and Interoperability” of the Digital Europe program. The objective of this call is the creation of a network of “European Digital Innovation Hubs” (EDIH), covering all regions of Europe. The call contains the topic:

Specialized education programs or modules in key capacity areas (DIGITAL-2022-SKILLS-03-SPECIALISED-EDU), which aims to increase and improve the educational offer and the number of students specialized in key areas of digital competence, expanding the geographical distribution of courses, the possible opportunities and relevance of the latest technological developments.

The calls are open to companies, organizations and public administrations of the EU Member States, as well as to entities from other countries associated with the Digital Europe program, and will close the 24 January 2023 (with the exception of the Initial Network of European Digital Innovation Hubs (DIGITAL-2022-EDIH-03-INITIAL) call which will close on November 16, 2022).
