Tenders aim to achieve pilot projects targeted at innovative solutions that respond to regional energy needs, through a co-creative approach supported by teams of local stakeholders. These will be involved in the creation, implementation and evaluation of the pilot projects and will ensure that the solutions are lined to the values, needs and expectations of the region.
The goal of the call in Ostrobothnia is to find innovative methods for connect le local resources decentralized and local solutions in energy production or consumption, involving different social groups to foster the regional sustainable energy transition by 2030.
Project proposals will have to contribute to the design of new ones organizational methods in the workplace, in business relationships or in external relations, as well as to reconfiguration practices in society such as new business models, ways of governance, networks and policy interventions, and finally the development of new or improved processes production or supply.
The available budget is 50.000 € of lump sum contributions, with which they will be financed two projects who will receive € 25.000 each to co-develop and validate their solutions from January to December 2023.
The challenge that the project proposals will have to respond to for this call is the need for spaces, knowledge and tools suitable for i citizens, so that they can actively contribute to solutions for the sustainable energy transition.
Activities may include the creation of alternative organizational models to meet local energy needs, meeting points between citizens and key regional actors and adequate spaces for active participation and collaboration between society and stakeholders in fostering 'development of solutions for the sustainable transition of the energy sector.
The winner of the call will be able to co-create and validate their solution in the territory by November 2023, benefiting from 50.000 € of lump sum contribution and opportunities for to network and exchange good practices with organizations across Europe involved in the energy transition.
The pilot project will have to address the cost reduction energy for the population of the territory, through the use of energy of local origin to ensure cheaper supplies for businesses and families.
The widespread problem of energy poverty and the rapid rise in prices in the sector, in fact, strongly affect local wellbeing and lifestyles, despite the significant presence of energy sources in the region and above all of renewable electricity which, however, is sold to the British National Network.
The selected proposal will be awarded with 50.000 € of lump sum contribution and the possibility of implementing your solution in a real context within November 2023, with occasions of develop networks and exchange information with organizations and experts in the field from across the EU.
Entities legally established in one of the EU Member States o associated with Horizon 2020. Nominations will also be considered by consortia and you need to know the national languages of work (in addition to English) in order to participate in the co-creation phases.
